Finished in a day despite work/baby. Gripping and a fast read! Spent a lot of the book rolling my eyes at the narrator’s tone, but this is a problem I have with some frequency. Also: Avery’s dad… Whoa. Book overall felt a bit trope-y but definitely moving. And I’m not an expert, but I thought Avery’s PTSD was pretty realistically portrayed. This year, as always, I’m going to set a goal for how many books to read per semester at school… my record is 42, and I’m going to try to beat it this fall! (As opposed to failing miserably, as I did both semesters last year… Whoops.)

And if that fails, I can always just post lots of baby pics…
